Bleu Paris

An international short film festival devoted to the colour blue, founded by Modka in 2023. Each year, French and international films answer one another around a single colour.

Bleu Paris grew out of my research into blue. Having explored it in painting, writing and film, I wanted to open this space to other artists.

Founded in 2023, the Bleu Paris Festival is the first short film festival devoted to the colour blue. It extends my thinking about this colour as an emotional, symbolic and narrative territory.

Each year the festival brings together French and international works in which blue plays a central role in the story. It is a place for screening, meeting and dialogue between disciplines.

Éternellement Bleu

In 2026 I illustrated the poetry collection Éternellement Bleu, published as part of the festival. It brings together the twenty finalist poems of the blue poetry competition. This editorial work extends my visual research into blue, where image meets text.
