Statement

Read the statement

Blue has been at the centre of my research since 2012. Neither a mere colour nor an aesthetic effect, it has become an inner territory, a space between sky and ocean, between falling and rising.

Water, golden light and the mirror sometimes set into the canvas open a dialogue between the work and the person looking at it.

The Quest for Spirituality

The spiritual quest runs through my work like an invisible thread.

Through blue, I look for a space of elevation, a point of balance between matter and light, between grounding and transcendence.
